Initially, a makeshift aid initiative operated informally for three years, paving the way for the formal establishment of Neighbors in Need, Ethiopia in 2023. With eight dedicated volunteers during its inception, the organization has since grown, boasting a staff of 20 actively operating in Addis Ababa and Southern Oromia, specifically in the West Guji zone.
