Who we are

• How we get there

  Neighbors in Need originated from a collective effort by diverse volunteers determined to assist vulnerable groups such as TB patients, war-affected women, and abandoned children. Initially, a makeshift aid initiative operated informally for three years, paving the way for the formal establishment of Neighbors in Need, Ethiopia in 2023. With eight dedicated volunteers during its inception, the organization has since grown, boasting a staff of 20 actively operating in Addis Ababa, Oromia Region and some pocket areas of south, specifically 63 woredas/ districts.
