Neighbors in Need (NIN) Concludes One-year Project: Contribution for Peace Building and Women Social and Political Empowerment in West Guji Zone: Bule Hora and Dugda Dawa Woredas The project funded by WHH CoSAP was closed in celebration in the presences of representatives from beneficiaries, community representatives, and zonal and woreda stakeholders. During the project closing event, NIN highlighted key activities carried out, the positive outcomes achieved, lessons learned and the challenges were presented to the participants of the event. While a discussion was also conducted on how to sustain the outcomes achieved and responsibilities were handed over. NIN expressed its deep gratitude to the project funding partner #WHH #CoSAP for their generous support and extended capacity building and stakeholders for their active engagement throughout the project. Project beneficiaries and stakeholders expressed gratitude for NIN the funding partner #WHH #CoSAP.

Celebrating the Success of TOT Trainings Across Five Clusters With the Support of Partners and Communities

Neighbors in Need is working in 61 districts of Oromia to help communities and schools prevent malaria. NIN grouped these districts in to five Cluster and started a three days TOT training for trainers in four clusters: Jimma, Nekemet, Shashemne, Gimbi and Dembi-Dollo. The training is for primary School Expert and Malaria Focal person in each district. The training was organized by Neighbors in Need and supported by OHB and OEB. Dear Families and Partners, Thank you very much for your support with the “TOT” training/SBC on malaria prevention from November 16 to 22, 2025. Your provision made the training in places like DEMBI-DOLO, GINBI, SHASHEMENE, JIMMA, and NEKEMET A GREAT SUCCESS. We appreciate the efforts of everyone involved, including Mr. Juhar Kassm, Mr. Mathewos Abayi, Ms. Tume Nura, Mr. Mebratu Assefa, Ms. Asgedech Lisanu, Mr. Gizaw Kebede, Ms. Deborah Fekadu Mr. Abebe Lubago, and all facilitators; Tesfayesus, Wubalem, Wudinesh, Netsanet, Olana, Malde, Sifan, Mati, Tigist, Adisu, Yordanos, Selam, Kedir and Elias Ali. Thanks also to the district health and education teams, malaria focal persons, and primary education experts from 61 districts in Oromia for their participation.
